Elmore County is currently under a Winter Storm Watch beginning 6:00 a.m. Friday until 9:00 a.m. Saturday with the possibility of this being upgraded to a Winter Storm Warning as early as this afternoon.
Our County EMA Director and County Engineer work closely together anytime a storm is approaching to minimize the possibility of road closures and to distribute information to keep citizens informed and safe.
EMA staff is monitoring the approaching Winter Storms and will issue local travel advisories when needed.
