Happy Thanksgiving! To give our team members time with family and friends, there will be no service on Thursday, November 22, and collection will be delayed the rest of the week by one day. Our office will also be closed, but will reopen for normal business hours on Friday, November 23. From our family to yours, we wish you a Happy Thanksgiving!

Elmore County Government Offices will close at noon on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 and will remain closed through Friday.

Monthly Countywide cleanup day is this Saturday, 11-10-18

Trucks will be at the locations below from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

The pick-up sites are for residents to bring amounts of trash larger than the normal residential trash container will accommodate.

Limbs smaller than four feet and no more than six inches in diameter will be accepted but it is not designed to accept trash or clean-up debris from contractors.

Items such as batteries, appliances, oils and gases, paints or thinners will not be accepted.

These are the pick-up sites for this Saturday:
Town of Elmore – Town Hall
Holtville High School
Elmore County Judicial Complex
CEWSA – Redland Facility
Emerald Mountain Equestrian Center
Kent – Old Highway Department

The Elmore County Economic Development Authority announced today the hiring of Cary Cox as their new executive director. Media release below.

Having served on the ECEDA board for 13 years prior to me becoming a county commissioner, I know how important this organization is to Elmore County. I continue to work closely with ECEDA and I greatly appreciate the volunteer members of the board that have worked hard to find such a qualified Director.
