Arrow Disposal Statement on Residential Customers Affected by Recent Storms
Arrow Disposal Service, Inc. shared information for their customers affected by the recent storms in Elmore and Autauga Counties.
See their statement below.
“Attention Autauga & Elmore County residents who were affected by the recent tornados in central Alabama. If you are an active Arrow Disposal customer and your garbage can was destroyed or is missing due to the storm, please contact our customer service center to request a replacement container. You may reach us by calling toll free, 1-866-440-3983, Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. Thank you!”
Donation Points of Distribution Established in Elmore County to Assist Autauga, Coosa and Elmore Counties
Donations received at the Donation Drop off Point in Wetumpka will be distributed through three Points of Distribution to citizens affected by the recent storm in Autauga, Coosa and Elmore counties.
Below is a a statement released by the Elmore County Commission with details:
Three Donation Point of Distributions (PODs) have been established in Elmore County to provide aid to those in need due to the tornado and severe weather events of January 12th in Autauga, Coosa, and Elmore Counties.
The Donation PODs will open Tuesday, January 17th and be in operation for the next several weeks. Operating hours for the PODs will be Monday through Saturday, 9 am to 4 pm. The PODs will be open until January 30th.
One POD will be located on the western side of Elmore County near the Autauga County line at:
New Hope Baptist Church, 6191 Lightwood Road, Deatsville, AL
Anyone with questions related to the Lightwood POD should contact 334-514-5675.
The second POD will be located on the northeast side of Lake Jordan in Elmore County near the Coosa County line at:
New Home Baptist Church, 1605 New Home Road, Titus, AL.
Anyone with questions related to the Titus POD should contact 334-514-5699.
The third POD is located at the multi county Donation Center at located at 3145 Elmore Rd., Wetumpka, AL. Citizens entering the Donation Center complex will be required to check in at the gated guard house.
Anyone with questions related to the donation center POD should contact 804-305-6471.
Citizens with unmet needs will need to bring some form of identification or documentation indicating their affected address is located within Autauga, Coosa or Elmore counties.
Volunteer Reception Center Established to Serve Autauga, Coosa and Elmore Counties
Below is a statement from the Elmore County Commission with information for citizens wanting to volunteer and assist those in need impacted by the recent storms:
A Volunteer Reception Center (VRC) has been established in Autauga County to provide volunteer coordination for those in need due to the tornado and severe weather events of January 13th in Autauga, Coosa, and Elmore Counties.
The VRC will begin operations on Monday January 16, and be in operation until Wednesday January 18th. Individuals desiring to volunteer should call 211 or go to First Baptist Church Posey Crossroads, 576 County Road 40 W, Prattville, AL.
Operating hours for the VRC on Monday and Tuesday will be 830am to 4pm and Wednesday from 830am to 3pm.
Questions related to volunteer needs can be directed to 211.
Donation Drop Off Location Established in Elmore County
In response to the recent tornadoes and severe weather, a Donation Drop Off Location been established on Hwy 14 at the Phoenix building (Former Russell Building) to receive basic items needed by citizens affected by the storms January 3 – January 13 in Autauga, Coosa and Elmore Counties.
