Welcome to District 4!

The 4^th of July holiday will bring the following changes to normal Elmore County government operations:

-Collection Facility
The City/County Collection Facility will be closed on Saturday, July 2^nd, 2022 and reopen Tuesday, July 5^th, 2022 at 7:00 am for normal operations.

-Arrow Disposal Schedule
Arrow Disposal will not pick up trash on Monday, July 4^th, 2022 with their schedule running one day late the balance of the week. Operations resume Tuesday, July 5^th, 2022 through Saturday, July 9, 2022.

-County Offices
Elmore County Government offices will be closed Monday, July 4^th, 2022.

On Thursday April 21st the Elmore County Commission will host senior high students from across the county in an effort to increase awareness of the role and responsibility of County Government.
A County Commission meeting will take place during their visit, there will be a display and demonstrations by the Elmore County Emergency Management Agency, Highway Department, Sheriff’s Department Special Operations and many other County agencies will have educational booths on display.

This is the agenda for the Elmore County Commission work session that will take place on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at 10:00am  on the 2nd Floor of the Historic Elmore County Courthouse, downtown Wetumpka. The Commission meeting will take place soon after the work session is complete.

On Monday, April 18 and through Tuesday, April 26, 2022, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Driver License (ALEA) office in the Historic Courthouse will be temporarily closed to update to the latest driver license system known as LEADS.
